There are millions of better authors out there. There are many who write mindless garbage and are bestsellers – it’s up to the reader.
A dude that has a claim to fame of saying “alright, alright, alright,” wrote a book, so can I.
Now in fairness to Matthew McConaughey, “Greenlights” is a great book. He is from a small town in Texas (Uvalde), he has done some really great movies.
Side thought – Interstellar, Dazed and Confused, Reign of Fire, Wedding Planner, hard to go wrong there.
