They told me to write a book…..so I did.
Side thought – Back to cursive and it’s last call and I should have stayed outside with skeeters.
I truly had problems doing it right. Of course I always struggled with “minding my margins.” (if you have no concept what that means, go watch Christmas Story and when she gives them a theme)
I would get frustrated but I was doing the best I could, same with coloring – just couldn’t stay within the lines. I did my best, but I guess my best wasn’t good enough (apologies to Quincy Jones and James Ingram – “Just Once” 1981 from the classic Quincy album “The Dude.”)
In the world of education today I would have had a label stuck to me and given “special” instruction. Childhood “psychobabble,” oh, psychobabble. “Tell you about a dream that I have every night” (apologies to Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson from Eye In The Sky – great album that has a little more depth than the “Bulls” song)
All the adjustment and counseling that was needed came from good ol’ Bill E.
Side thought – Pay Up! Drink Up! Leave!
